First Post!

 

Good Morning!  Well, it's been a while. I've been toying with an idea of restarting a blog, and cannot find the old one. 😳  I liked that one and kept it up for some time. So while I continue to look, I'll start a new one. I can always move old posts over here, can I not?

I think there have been many changes to Blogger since I was last here, so it'll take some time to refresh and relearn. I chose the simple white blog to start.  

Why start a blog, you ask? I need some outer accountability to finish some UFO's, work on projects, and prioritize.

I also would like to eventually merge this blog with my Instagram account, which is more of a Bookstagram account.  I certainly can highlight both quilting (Stitches) and reading (Stories).  Here we are back again!

Pictured here is Poppy's Baby Quilt.  It is from Amy Smart's Diary of A Quilter website, and is hands down, my fave baby quilt. Her tutorial is here.  Poppy is my great-nephew's (or grandnephew's) daughter!
